Nick Beeson

Nick is originally from London but after studying for a degree at Cambridge University moved to Aberdeen to join Baker Hughes, a US Oilfield Services company. After 5 years working offshore as a Field Engineer he moved into management and 11 years later was promoted to his first VP role.

He spent 13 years working overseas and 7 years working in VP roles in the USA, UK, Dubai and Egypt. He has applied many of the leadership and management skills developed in his old career to his new career in hospitality technology.

EBar was established to develop a concept that had been developed during an MBA program at Robert Gordon University.

As Managing Director he is responsible for the company’s commercial and operational performance, leading the team and driving the company’s growth strategy.

With 3 grown up children, a large garden and a mission to change the way the world is served, Nick doesn’t have much time for much else but when he can he tries to stay fit and is a competent rower.
