A new article in The Caterer highlights the benefits seen by Brighton & Hove Albion FC, and their partner Sodexo Live!, following an award-winning revamp of the club’s food and beverage offering; at the heart of this was the installation of an EBar Beerwall!
So impressive was the upgrade at The Amex Stadium, The Seagulls in partnership with Sodexo Live! picked up the 2024 Foodservice Catey award for Innovation.
The Caterer article highlights the speed and simplicity of Beerwall, for fans who simply want to grab a quick pint or two before the match or at halftime – “this equipment has seen serving time reduced to 30 seconds for two pints and supports the big proportion of fans who simply want to order draught beer when watching the football”.
And with this speed and simplicity, Brighton’s transaction data has shown a major reduction in waiting times – which in turn has led to a 40% uptick in fan satisfaction around the rapidity and quality of service.
Significantly, these improved metrics have also had an immediate impact on the bottom line – at the first Albion match with the new services in place, EBar’s partner Sodexo reported a 35% increase in food and beverage revenues compared with the average.
Repeat visits were also shown to have increased, by 25%, indicating the ease and enthusiasm with which Brighton’s fans adopted EBar’s fast-serving Beerwall.
