With Autumn drawing in, the hard-working EBar team gathered at EBar HQ for a brief huddle after 4 months of non-stop deployments to venues and festivals the length and breadth of the UK. We reflected on our busiest summer ever; the milestones, customer and fan feedback, new partners and how we build on this momentum as we look towards 2025.

Here’s an at-a-glance, month-by-month recap on EBar’s remarkable 2024 summer.

In June…

We installed a new Beerwall at Manchester’s famous AO Arena, and we were excited to be a runner up at the Global Product Innovation category at the Stadium Business Awards.

We also broke new ground by expanding our range of products to include Cocktailpickers’ Aperitivo Spritz cocktails and Bubble Bros’ Prosecco. These were fan favourites at Pink and Taylor Swift concerts, but it was our keg fresh pints that kept fans’ thirst at bay at massive Foo Fighters, Madness and Take That! gigs.

EBars were pouring perfect pints at outdoor events including the Black Deer Festival and Royal Highland Show, and we were kept busy at Rugby League, T20 cricket and feature horse racing meetings at venues up and down the country!

In July…

Our mobile EBar units continued to delight horse racing fans and customers’ sales were boosted by our deployments during the England Men’s comprehensive Test match wins over the West Indies at Trent Bridge and Edgbaston.

In the Rugby League, EBar units kept fans refreshed at stadia across Lancashire and Yorkshire, serving up pints of lager, cider, ale and stout. And we were back in Leeds for the Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards where attendees enjoyed the fast-serve, high-efficiency, perfect-pour EBar experience.

July was also all about the music, with EBars helping to keep the queues down and the fans happy at no fewer than four big festivals. And to round things off we made our first appearance at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena for a rocking night courtesy of Kings of Leon!

In August…

From Kings in July to a principality in August, as EBar rocked up at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium for US music legend, Billy Joel’s only European concert of 2024. Meanwhile at Chelmsford City Racecourse it was less Piano Man and more piano house as Ministry of Sound’s Ibiza Anthems kept racegoers partying long after the weigh-in.

In fact it was another massive month of sport, with EBar units popping up all over the country, serving fans at England Men vs Sri Lanka, plus exciting matches in The Hundred, and the Bedfred Super League, not to mention boxing in Nottingham.

It was gratifying to partner with EBar, who deployed 7 of their mobile units to relieve pressure on our manned bars and provide fans speed of service, a high quality pour and of course the convenience of skipping bar queues and self-serving their pints.

The EBars were a massive hit with fans, and we were more than pleased with the incremental bar revenues generated by EBar

But of course, August in the UK is dominated by the return of the football – and EBar was hitting the back of the net on a regular basis, with appearances for our mobile units and Beerwalls across all four tiers of the English game.

And what with all that going on, it was hardly surprising that EBar reached a new milestone, pouring our 750,000th pint – which we worked out to equate to a stack of kegs half the height of Everest!

In September…

As the summer wound down, the football season got into full swing and EBar’s schedule expanded with appearances at dozens of football matches at all levels of the English game as well as in the Champions League. And in mid-September we were proud to reach another milestone, with a total of 60 mobile and Beerwall units in action on the same afternoon.

EBar’s patented pressure pour system was pouring perfect pints at the legendary St Leger Festival in Doncaster (for the 4th time in a row), the Davis Cup tennis in Manchester, Rugby Union and League matches, plus T20 and One Day International cricket, and major comedy gigs in Nottingham and Manchester!

And speaking of our patented system – we were absolutely thrilled this month, after years of hard work, to be granted our patents in both the USA and Japan, allowing us to expand our operations into international markets with the assurance that we are protected from would-be imitators.

After a huge summer of activity, EBar is looking forward to continuing to serve fans at venues and events all over the UK right through into 2025 and beyond.
