The EBar Story

Founded in 2016 by Nick Beeson and Sam Pettipher, EBar Initiatives Limited was born out of a universally shared frustration: waiting in painfully slow queues for expensive yet mediocre quality drinks at live events. Observing severe operational bottlenecks at stadia events and festivals, where overwhelmed bar staff left fans missing out on the action and venue operators missing out on revenue, we knew there had to be a better way.
We were sure that technology innovation could solve this problem once and for all. Our mission was clear: design, engineer, and deploy a fully automated, self-serve drink dispensing solution that transformed event operations, maximised venue profitability, and elevated the fan experience.
Within 15 months of incorporating, we had built our first working prototype. At the heart of each EBar unit is our world-leading, patented pressure-pour technology that gives us total control over the dispensing process, filling pint cups in just a few seconds. Capable of serving up to 300 perfectly poured drinks per hour per unit in auto-pour mode, our industrial-grade, mobile EBar units and built-in Beerwalls are engineered to operate seamlessly under extreme event conditions.
Today, EBar Initiatives Limited is an industry-leading event technology company headquartered in Scotland, with a dedicated operational hub in West Yorkshire supporting deployments across the UK and internationally. Alongside our patented hardware, we provide comprehensive operational, logistics, and technical management—partnering with major stadiums, festivals, and high-volume live venues to lead the self-service catering revolution.
